NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office has released its latest booking summary, showing two individuals were taken into custody on driving-while-intoxicated charges over a 12-hour period spanning late February 28 and early March 1, 2026.
According to the report dated March 1, 2026:
- David Ralph Ballenger, 69, of 9399 County Road 48B in Henderson, Texas, was booked at 10:04 p.m. on February 28 after being arrested at approximately 7:19 p.m. the same day. Ballenger faces a Class B misdemeanor charge of Driving While Intoxicated (Texas Penal Code 49.04). He was released early the next morning at 2:30 a.m. on March 1. Booking number: 26-0488.
- William Kay Phou, 29, of 2622 South Fredonia Street in Nacogdoches, was booked at 3:56 a.m. on March 1 after an arrest at 2:23 a.m. Phou is charged with the Class B misdemeanor offense of Driving While Intoxicated with an Open Alcohol Container (Texas Penal Code 49.04(c)). He was released later that same morning at 8:02 a.m. Booking number: 26-0489.
Both arrests were made by the Nacogdoches Police Department. The sheriff’s office summary lists a total of two inmates and two bookings for the reporting period.
