Nacogdoches Man Booked on Public Intoxication Charge

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Local authorities reported the arrest of Dabrion Stephan Davis-Woods, 23, of Nacogdoches, following a public intoxication incident earlier this week.

According to Nacogdoches Police Department records, Davis-Woods was taken into custody at 7:21 p.m. on December 10, 2025. He was booked under Booking Number 25-3051 and assigned Name Number 149200.

The arrest stemmed from an alleged violation of Texas Penal Code 49.02, which covers public intoxication. The charge is classified as a Class C misdemeanor.

Davis-Woods, who resides at 818 Wells Street, Nacogdoches, was processed at the city jail. Records show he was released at 4:12 a.m. on December 11, 2025, following clearance of the charge.

The case was handled by the Nacogdoches Police Department (NPD). No bond amount was listed as remaining at the time of release.

Public intoxication is considered a minor offense in Texas, but arrests are made when individuals are deemed a danger to themselves or others while under the influence in public spaces.
