A 23‑year‑old Nacogdoches man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on multiple misdemeanor charges involving a firearm, marijuana possession, and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to jail records.
Jonas Deron Grisby, of 3220 North St., was taken into custody by Nacogdoches Police at 4:07 p.m. on April 14. His arrest followed an incident around 2:50 p.m. in which officers allege he engaged in disorderly conduct involving the discharge or display of a firearm.
Grisby was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on three Class A and B misdemeanor charges: • Disorderly Conduct – Discharge/Display of Firearm (42.01(a)(7)(8)) • Possession of Marijuana <2 oz (481.121(b)(1)) • Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon (46.02(a))
He was assigned booking number 26‑0909 and remained in custody briefly before being released at 8:09 p.m. the same day.
