Chireno area: we are searching for at least two suspects who attempted to steal the ATM machine at Highway 21 and fm 95 at 1:50 am. Unknown suspects were scared off by a citizen. The suspects vehicle was found at loop 34 near Highway 21. The vehicle they were using was stolen out of Diboll. Unknown if suspects were picked up by another vehicle or are on foot. We currently have a perimeter set up and are awaiting more units to arrive to search the area. All citizens that live in this area should make sure that their vehicles and homes are locked. If you see anything suspicious please call 911.
