ATM Theft Attempt in Chireno Foiled by Citizen; Suspects Still at Large

Hector Cuarenta in custody

Late Sunday evening Hector Cuarenta, 17, surrendered himself to the Nacogdoches Police Department. Cuarenta was arrested and transferred to the Nacogdoches Law Enforcement Center. Cuarenta was wanted in connection with Friday’s shooting deaths of three subjects on Hackberry Street. Information will continue to be released as it is available.
