Nacogdoches Woman Arrested on Evidence Tampering, Resisting Charges

A Nacogdoches woman was booked into the county jail late Saturday night on felony and misdemeanor charges, according to jail records.

Lisa Gail Johnson, 59, of 923 Orton St., Apt. A, was taken into custody at 11:06 p.m. on April 25. She was booked under number 26‑1002 and remains confined as of the latest report.

Records show Johnson is charged with tampering or fabricating physical evidence, a third‑degree felony under Texas Penal Code 37.09(a). The offense was logged at 10:00 p.m. by the Nacogdoches Police Department.

She is also charged with resisting arrest, search, or transport, a Class A misdemeanor under Penal Code 38.03(a). That offense was recorded at 10:00:50 p.m., also by NPD.
