Nacogdoches, Texas – A 33-year-old Nacogdoches resident was booked into the Nacogdoches County Jail on Monday on a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Kelcie Dominique Abreo, of 917 County Road 803, was arrested by the Nacogdoches Police Department (NPD) and booked at approximately 11:10 a.m. on December 15, 2025, under booking number 25-3087.
According to jail records, Abreo faces one count of possession of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1 (PG 1), in an amount of one gram or more but less than four grams, in violation of Texas Health and Safety Code § 481.115(c). This is classified as a third-degree felony.
Penalty Group 1 under Texas law includes highly addictive substances with no accepted medical use, such as cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine, and certain opioids. A third-degree felony conviction carries a potential penalty of 2 to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
Abreo remains confined in the Nacogdoches County Jail as a pretrial state jail felon, with no bond amount listed at the time of booking.
The NPD has not released further details about the circumstances leading to the arrest. The case is ongoing, and Abreo is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
