The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a string of vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Cushing area between Oct. 22 and 23.
Numerous vehicles were targeted in the area around the 4200 block of State Highway 204; the 8000 and 9000 blocks of FM 225; Eucalyptus Avenue; and CR 864.
The burglaries are suspected of being linked to other recent of vehicle burglaries in Nacogdoches County. NCSO investigators continue to diligently investigate these cases, and believe the actors to be Hispanic males.
These individuals appear to be armed, so exercise extreme caution if you happen to catch someone in the act of burglarizing your vehicle.
Once again unlocked vehicles were targeted. No locked vehicles have so far been damaged by burglars forcing entry.
It is important for all Nacogdoches County residents to lock their vehicles when they are parked, and to remove or hide all valuables when the vehicle is unoccupied.
