Amber Lemke welcomes SFA Bowling Alum Sarah Gill as new Assistant Coach

NACOGDOCHES, Texas –Amber Lemke has brought in former SFA Ladyjack and 2019 national champion Sarah Gill to her staff as the new assistant coach for SFA Bowling. 

“Being able to bring in Coach Gill is an incredible opportunity for our program. With her national championship and professional experience, and her values emulating the key aspects of what makes a Ladyjack, our program is going to grow with her joining me in helping lead SFA Bowling,” said Coach Lemke.

Sarah Gill’s File
Coach Gill is coming from Tulane University, where she was the assistant coach last season. The Green Wave finished their year making the second round of the Southland Bowling League Championship. 

Gill’s Ladyjack experience has been instrumental in shaping SFA Bowling into the national powerhouse that it is today. 

In 2020-21, Gill was named All-Tournament Team on 5 separate occasions, Southland Bowling League Second Team, NTCA Central Region Second Team, and NCBCA Second Team All-American.

During the 2019-20 campaign, Gill had an All-Tournament Team Appearance.

During the Ladyjacks second National Championship season in 2018-19, Gill was an ISC Qualifier where she made it to Match Play, a Southland Conference Honorable Mention, made the Southland League Championships All-Tournament Team, had two PWBA Cashes, and placed 13th overall in the PWBA Cleveland Regional.
