Three Ladyjacks Awarded All-WAC Team

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – Aiyana Johnson and Avery Brittingham were awarded All-WAC First Team while Johnson also got awarded WAC All-Defensive Team. Jordan Harrison was awarded Freshman of the Year and All-WAC Second Team.

Aiyana Johnson had a year to remember in her final year as a Ladyjack. Here’s a look at her statistics at the end of the regular season:

– .719 FT% (106-for-146) (4th in WAC in total FTs made)
– 417 total points, 13.9 ppg
– 161 total rebounds, 5.4 rpg

Avery Brittingham played a factor in nearly every game this year for the Ladyjacks. Here’s what she accomplished in an impressive junior season:

– 242 total rebounds, 8.3 rpg (3rd in WAC)
– 85 assists
– 44 steals
– 20 blocks
– 1 triple-double (one of 24 players in the nation to record a triple-double this year)
