The Lamp-Lite Players continue their 52nd Season of “New” Classics with Oliver! by Lionel Bart, July 11, 12, 18, and 19, 2025, 7:30 pm, and July 13 and 20, 2025, 2:00 pm. Tickets will be available starting June 21, 2025. All tickets are assigned seats for a specific performance. Something new for this Summer Musical is 2024-2025 Season Pass Holders may exchange their passes for tickets to Oliver! An audience dress rehearsal will be held July 10, 2025, 7:30 pm, for $5.00, with tickets only available at the Box Office the night of the performance.
Melissa McMillian-Cunningham, Director, and Davy Thomas, Musical Director, look forward to producing Oliver! with the assistance of Assistant Director Cynthia Hughes, Choreographer Katie Parr, Stage Manager Christen Smith, and Assistant Stage Manager Heath McCormack. Technical leaders include set construction Gina Jones, costume coordinator Nancy Matthews Smith, set painting Lisa Reid, light board operator Michael Moore, and sound operator/pre-show music Steve Chandler.

In addition, Charlotte Davis, Frances Teal, and Peyton Lewis sing in the chorus and are featured soloists in “Who Will Buy?” The adult chorus also consists of Adan Morones, Anna Donihoo, Brianna Lewis, Candyce Wagnon, Dottie Rhodes, Domynik Willis, Hadley Harris, Jessica Shelkey, Katie Parr, Kimberly Fos, Scott Parrish, Richard Malloy, and River Delcambre.
Youth Chorus members include Addison Lewis, Cater Cartwright, Carli Shaw, David Morones, Elizabeth Williamson, Ellie Falke, Ezra Hamlin, Gabby Bloxson, Gracie Rosser, Graham Payne, Grayson Fos, Hope Alsup, Jocelyn Hunt, Klarissa Reyes, Lydia Smith, Matilyn Donihoo, McKenna Fos, Nash Coutee, Samuel Lewis, Radlynn May, and Winter Perry.
McMillian-Cunningham is excited about producing Oliver! for the community, stating, “I’m looking forward to working with our large, talented cast of Oliver! We have many actors who are long time Lamp-Lite Players as well as first timers. In addition to our actors, we have a top notch production team keeping us organized, constructing and painting the scenery, building the costumes, and creating the world of the play. Of course, Davy Thomas, our music director, is a phenomenal teacher and a wonderful director himself, and he will be bringing the show fully to life with music that is truly moving, entertaining, and evocative.”
