STONE HOUSE KITCHEN Providing a FREE Coffee Bar for SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN

Lamp-Lite Theatre presents their second production, the bluegrass musical Smoke on the Mountain, book by Connie Ray, conceived by Alan Bailey, musical arrangements by Mike Craver and Mark Hardwick, November 3-4 and 10-11, 2023, 7:30 pm, and November 5 and 12, 2:00 pm, at Lamp-Lite Theatre, 4210 Lamp-Lite Lane, corner of Old Tyler Road and NW Stallings Dr.

 An added attraction for the matinee performance on November 5th is a Coffee Bar, courtesy of Stone House Kitchen. Audience members who attend that day are invited to arrive early and enjoy one or more cups of coffee from a selection hot coffees, cold coffees, and additional flavorings before the performance and during intermission. Nita Reynolds, co-owner of Stone House Kitchen, is excited to “bless the community” by supporting Lamp-Lite Theatre with FREE coffee. Members of the cast for Smoke on the Mountain include Michael Dean, Carrie Butler Swann, Nikolaas Van Kley, Linda Licht, Stephanie Oldmixon, Kevin Helmer, Mark Strange, Amee Johnson, and Candyce L. Wagnon.  The production includes over two dozen rousing gospel songs in this hilarious and heartwarming story of an evening of spiritual revival in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina in 1938.  Davy Thomas serves as Musical Director and Katherine Parrish Whitbeck serves as Director. Tickets for Smoke on the Mountain are on sale at Klines/Wrap-It-Up and the CVB. The tickets are also on sale 30 minutes prior to all performances at Lamp-Lite Theatre. Prices are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors 60+ years old, and $8 for students/children. All seats are general seating within each reserved performance.
