Obituary
Fred McNair Joplin Jr., age 90, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 in Nacogdoches. He was born December 29, 1932 in Longview, Texas to parents Fred McNair Joplin Sr. and Linnie Mae Jimerson Joplin.
Fred received a BS degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in business and worked at various places most recently serving as a greeter at Walmart.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, John Earl Joplin.
Survivors include cousins, Jack Hammett of Nacogdoches, Donnie Stribble of Arlington, TX, Ronnie Stribble of Longview, TX, Judy Sledge of Dallas, TX, Jan Medrano of Longview, TX and Michael Adams of Rockwall, TX.
Graveside Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 28, 2023, Sunset Memorial Park in Nacogdoches.
