Nacogdoches ISD students and staff will be on fall break Friday and Monday, Oct. 13 and Oct. 16, but there is still a full slate of activities this weekend.
On Friday, the Dragons host Mount Pleasant at 7:30 p.m. in the 2023 Pink Out football game. Nacogdoches and Mount Pleasant are two of three teams tied for fourth place in District 8-5A.
Also on Friday, the Lady Dragons volleyball teams plays at Dayton. The varsity match is at 4:30 p.m. followed by the junior varsity and freshmen.
On Saturday, the NHS Golden Dragon Marching Band performs at 9:15 p.m. in the Region 21 marching contest at Homer Bryce Stadium on the campus of Stephen F. Austin State University.
Students return to classes on a regular schedule Tuesday, Oct. 17.
