McMorries Obstetrics Gynecology & Infertility is proud to announce Mallory Maisel, RN, FNP-C will be changing her focus on the team of women’s health care professionals.
“Mallory has been an invaluable part of our team for a few years now,” said Kyle McMorries, M.D. “Our patients know her, and now that she is a family nurse practitioner, she’s going to be even more integral to our mission.”
Maisel has more than thirteen years of experience as a registered nurse in medical surgical, surgery, home health, and women’s health, and she has been on staff at McMorries since 2020. She recently graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program.
“I am excited to start this new journey in my health care career,” Maisel said. “As a family nurse practitioner, I’m looking forward to a new role and new challenges.”
Maisel graduated from Woden High School and earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing in 2010 from Stephen F. Austin State University. She was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and Omicron Eta.
Before becoming a family nurse practitioner, Maisel worked as a registered nurse, a case manager and assistant clinic director, and an assistant simulation lab coordinator. She is licensed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Texas Board of Nursing. She is certified in AHA Basic Life Support, Oasis COS-C and fetal monitoring.
