The Lamp-Lite Players present The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, by Barbara Robinson, December 18-21, 2025, ONE WEEKEND ONLY. Curtain is at 7:30 pm, December 18th, 19th, and 20th, and at 2:00 pm, December 21st. It is highly recommended that tickets be purchased online at lampliteplayers.ludus.com prior to the performances. Leftover tickets, if available, will be sold at the Box Office the day of the performance 45 minutes before curtain. All seats are reserved seats.
The Herdmans, played by Lydia Smith, Maddox Gaona, Grayson Fos, Cadence Glazener, McKenna Fos, & Robert McDermand, are “the worst kids in the world.” After hearing about desserts at church, they take over the main parts of the Annual Christmas Pageant, to the chagrin of the Bradleys, played by Cristoban Morones, Jessie Licht, Holly Odom, & Stihl Adams. Can Mrs. Bradley turn the impending fiasco around?
Mrs. Armstrong and the other Ladies of the Church, played by Candyce Wagnon, Kim Fos, Jessica May, Alex Baeza, and Sue Whatley, do not think so. They continually give advice to Rev. Hopkins, played by Pablo Morones, and his Deacon, Richard Malloy. In addition, Beth’s best friend Alice, played by Jocelyn Hunt, provides her insights, and the Sunday School Kids, including Maxine, played by Carli Shaw, and the rest, played by Jackson Smith, Morgan Stewart, Radlyn May, Kinsley Baeza, Vivian Licht, Hazel Licht, Kenzie Clark, Nash Coutee, Graham Payne, Madie Boyer, and Amirabella Higginbotham, enter the fray. Added to the chaos are the Firemen, played by David Morones and Isaac Alejandro Calderon. Benjamin Smith portrays the Almost Baby Jesus.
Roz Couch directs this cherished Christmas tradition featuring adult, youth, and child Lamp-Lite Players. Davy Thomas directs the music and provides accompaniment, along with Jody Ryan. Christen Smith serves as Stage Manager, assisted by Heath McCormack. Rounding out the production leadership are Chelsi Condon, Brian Oswald, and Nancy Smith.
