Kennith Uriah Baker of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on August 7th, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Kennith was born on February 29th, 1948 in Perry County Arkansas. He married the love of his life on August 9th, 1975 Glenda Sue Corley Baker. He was a loving and devoted Daddy and Paw. His passion in life was God and his family. He came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior the day after his beloved mother gained her heavenly wings. His hobbies included working with wood, fishing, playing with the grandchildren, listening to old country music, and studying the Lord’s word. He was a very intelligent, hardworking man. He had a natural ability of craftmanship. He loved telling stories about working with Jay for the Highway Department in Arkansas. Those were some of his favorite memories. His last job was JM Clipper for several years.

Kennith is survived by his wife, his two daughters Melissa Murray and husband Darrin, Kenya Jinkins and husband Chad, grandchildren Charity and her boyfriend Luther, Kennith Uriah and girlfriend Jess, Eric, Caden, Sudi, and Ronald. Great grandson Legend, sister Ruth Lancaster and husband Othel, sister-in-law Barbara Hancock and husband Jimmy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews Jay and Jeff Rankin were born before Kennith was married and had children of his own. He loved and thought of them as if they were his own. Kennith is preceded in death by his parents Sammy and Nova Baker, and brother Ronald Baker. A special thanks to the staff of Garrison Health Clinic and Heart to Heart Hospice. He will be laid to rest by his parents in Perry County Arkansas.
