Judy Ann (Castleberry) Mason, age 78, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. She was born on April 8, 1946 in Nacogdoches to Chester Leo Castleberry, Sr. and Ruby Louise Jones Castleberry.
Judy graduated from Sam Houston High School. She was a homemaker, Mother, Nana and worked for the police department as a dispatcher. Judy enjoyed being the best Mother, Nana, Aunt and friend to everyone she knew. She loved traveling and crafting.
Survivors include: children, Anthony (AJ) Mason and wife Mitzie, Jeff Mason and fiancee Sarah, and Jeanna Mason; grandchildren, Brittany Ferguson and husband Caleb, Cody Alexander and wife Jessi, Hunter Mason and Blake Mason; great-grandchildren, Cameron Alexander, Paisley Ferguson, Cayson Ferguson, Mason Alexander, Calleigh Lewis, Oaklynn Alexander; friends so dear they were family, Billy and Gloria Tubbe; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews all who she loved like her own children.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 47 years, Jerry Mason; sister, Helen Tubbe; brothers, Leo Castleberry, Jerry Castleberry, Johnny Castleberry.
A visitation for Judy will be held Monday, August 5, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, 5400 North St, Nacogdoches, Texas 75965, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Judy will be laid to rest in Saints Rest Cemetery, Nacogdoches , Texas.
