CHRISTIAN WOMEN’S JOB CORPs
Christian Women’s Job Corps is a 501(c3) nonprofit organization which is a by the part of the Women’s Missionary Union. The Executive Director in Nacogdoches is Jasmine Hassan. We are located at 316 Lewis Street, just around the corner from Love INC. Our goal is to encourage and empower women with job and life skills in a Christ-centered environment, “A hand-up. Not a handout!’ (Quote from CJC web page.) This organization offers classes in Bible Study, Money Management, Computer skills, Interview and resume preparation, and Personal Boundaries. We have also partnered with a local church to provide a business closet for interview clothing completely free.
We serve all women looking to reenter the workforce after some time away from it, those who wish to update their computer skills or update study skills. And what does all this cost? FREE!! Free to the student.
How can that be? CWJC raises money through grants, donations, and our Pine Top Pickleball Tournament! This year CJC Pickleball is October 5-6. It is a men’s, women’s, and mixed doubles tournament. So come have fun and contribute to a good cause. Help your neighbor, help your health!
