Blueberry bounty hunters needed

(May 29, 2024- NACOGDOCHES, TX) One of the new events for the 34th Annual Texas Blueberry Festival presented by Tipton Ford is the Blueberry Gang Bounty Hunters and this hunt covers Nacogdoches and will run for two weeks!

The infamous Blueberry Gang is on the loose and known to hide out in Nacogdoches businesses.

“We have searched and searched, but these blueberries are quite elusive,” said Festival Chair Grace Handler-Welch. “We need the community’s help in their apprehension.”

The Texas Blueberry Festival is recruiting Bounty Hunters to patrol Nacogdoches from June 1 through 17 to search out these roaming members of the Blueberry Gang.  Rewards will be given to successful hunters!

Here’s how to be an official Blueberry Gang Bounty Hunter and help round up the Blueberry Gang:

Pick up playing cards at The Nacogdoches County Chamber, 2516 North St., or The Nacogdoches Visitor Center, 200 E Main St. Cards available on June 1.

Visit the 10 business locations listed below and hunt down the blueberry gang emojis. Remember to get your card stamped at each business.

Turn in your stamped playing card by 5 p.m., Monday, June 17, at either the downtown Visitor Center or the Nacogdoches County Chamber.
