Obituary
Wilda Charlene Fountain, age 90, of Garrison, Texas passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022. Wilda was born December 22, 1931 to parents George Morgan and Edith Carver Morgan.
She spent the 80’s running her family general store “Fountain Variety” then spent the rest of her work career with the step program helping the elderly in our community. She retired after 10 years of service.
Survived by daughter, Jennifer Fountain of Garrison; son, Ian Fountain of New Mexico; grandsons, Michael Dillon Fountain (Destiny) of Garrison, James Hicks and wife of Georgia, Beau Hicks and wife of Longview; granddaughters, Anna Fountain (Billy) of Garrison, Talitha Acker (Jeremain) of Garrison; Rachael Stevens (Doc) of Washington; great-grandchildren, Lance, Madison and Dallas Fountain, Stella Stevens, Mason Hicks and William Hicks.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Karl Fountain and Michael Ray Fountain; daughter, Rebecca Ann Hicks.
Wilda loved cooking, genealogy and spending time with her family.
