There’s no better way to wrap up the summer than with a week full of history, family fun, and community celebrations in Nacogdoches!

Don’t miss your last chance to cheer on the Nacogdoches Niners! Tonight (Wednesday) at 7 pm, the Niners take on the Piney Woods Timberhogs for their final home game of the season. Bring the family out to the ballpark and help send the team off with a great crowd.

On Friday, make a splash at Splash Kingdom Timber Falls’ Big Wave Goodbye Party from 2–6 pm. Celebrate the final special event of the summer with foam, games, dancing, a live DJ, and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Saturday is packed with exciting events! Celebrate the 300th Anniversary of Venerable Antonio Margil in Downtown Nacogdoches from 9 am–7 pm, honoring the legacy of Father Margil through a day of commemorative activities. Also on Saturday, the Fredonia Brewery is hosting their annual Float Fest from 12–10 pm, featuring refreshing floats, great food, local brews, and live entertainment.

Wrap up the weekend on Sunday at the 194th Battle of Nacogdoches Celebration at the Sterne-Hoya House beginning at 2 pm. The free public program will feature a first-person interpretation and honor those who fought in the Battle of Nacogdoches through remembrance, reflection, and celebration.
