NACOGDOCHES,TX (DECEMBER 29, 2023): The Nacogdoches Police Department along with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office, UPD, DPS, and Texas Rangers have been aggressively working to identify and bring to justice the individuals involved in this mornings officer involved shooting. Several search warrants are being executed within Nacogdoches County. US Highway 7 West was shut down for a period of time due to the execution of a search warrant in the 5400 block. Highway 7 west has since been reopened. There is still a heavy police presence in the 6900 block of Woden Rd where another search warrant is being executed. As further information becomes available it will be released.
