A graveside service for Tomi Morton, 79, of Etoile, will be held at 10am, on June 19th, at Blue Springs Cemetery with Brother Glen Morton, officiating.
Tomi “Dianne” Morton, 79, of Etoile, Texas, passed away on June 16, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family.
Dianne was born on March 28, 1944 in Alexandria, Louisiana. She moved to Texas when she was two. She is predeceased by her parents Tom and Marie Walker. She is survived by her brother Drew Walker, his wife Maureen, and nephews and nieces.
Dianne was a beloved wife, mother, and Mimi. She married her husband of 58 years, Jimmy Wayne Morton, in 1965. Together they raised six children: Lori Torbert, Jackie Morton, Sherry Gauthier, Craig Morton, Melanie Emmons, and the late John Morton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Her greatest love was her family.
She had a kind word for everyone, and a deep faith for God. She loved camping on the lake with her family and traveling. Her favorite places to visit were Colorado and Louisiana. She was known by all for her delicious cooking. She was loved greatly by her family and will be missed by all.
