The Lamp-Lite Players continue their 52 Season of “New” Classics with auditions for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, by Barbara Robinson, October 5 and 6, 2024, 2:00 pm-3:30 pm. The auditions are for children, youth, and adults, eight-years-old and older. Everyone auditioning
is asked to dress for movement and to bring a favorite book, toy, or non-electronic game.
In addition, children and youth auditioning for speaking roles are asked to prepare a memorized poem of eight to twelve lines long and bring a hard copy for the director. Auditions will consist of solo, duet, and group scenes and interaction.
Community members interested in serving on technical crews are also invited to attend. Everyone will enter through the Green Room door at Lamp-Lite Theatre, 4210 Lamp-Lite Lane.
Katherine Parrish Whitbeck directs The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, assisted by Elaine Lambright and Betsy Tucker. Tari Dean serves as Stage Manager, Davy Thomas as Music Coordinator and Set Designer, and Christen Smith as Parent Volunteer Coordinator. Gina Jones, Nancy Smith, and Chris Sence also serve on the production leadership team.
