Technical leaders include set construction Gina Jones, costume coordinator Nancy Matthews Smith, set painting Lisa Reid, light board operator Michael Moore, and sound operator/pre-show music Steve Chandler.
McMillian-Cunningham is excited to work with a company of over 60 community members for Oliver!, stating, “The show itself has its comic moments, but its deeper, and most important, meaning deals with serious societal concerns such as poverty, crime, social injustice, and government corruption. These were the themes that concerned Charles Dickens when he wrote Oliver Twist, and these are the themes that concern our world today.”
