The city council will meet Tuesday, July 11th at 5:30 p.m. Council has now adopted the practice of pledges to both the United States and Texas flags. The agenda includes a report from the Capital Needs Advisory Committee (CNAC), appointments for the city to the Nacogdoches Economic Development Board of Directors, appointments to city boards and commissions, discussion of the city murals, and direction related to proposed capital equipment purchases for the 2023-24 budget. In addition there are three topics for the executive session, followed by return to the regular agenda for consideration of agreements and contracts related to the transfer of the Central Heights Water System to the Angelina and Neches River Authority.
