Presented by Brookshire Brothers, the Texas State Forest Festival is an East Texas tradition that attracts over 13,000 people to Lufkin/Angelina County with thrilling competitions, yummy festival food, fun carnival rides, exciting shows & so much more!

This year, the four-day festival will be held from September 17th through the 20th, 2026 at the George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center. Annually, the Texas State Forest Festival requires over 200 volunteers working about 2,500 hours to stage the event, and continues to be one of the premier annual events in Deep East Texas!

Thursday & Friday, September 17th & 18th – 5 PM – 10 PM
Saturday, September 19th – 8 AM Fun Run
Saturday, September 19th – Regular Hours 10 AM -10 PM
Sunday, September 20th – 11 AM – 5 PM
General Admission – $8 (Kids 3 and under FREE)
