Graveside service for Sharon A. Lum, 81, of Nacogdoches will be held at 10:00am on Friday, August 23, 2024 at Moore Cemetery.
Mrs. Lum passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2024 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born on July 13, 1943 in Nacogdoches to parents, Wilson and Virginia (Tillis) Moore.
Sharon grew up in Houston and attended Sam Houston High School. She was a devout follower of Christ and a member of Bible Baptist Church in Houston. Sharon dedicated herself to the church with great faith and helped with various church functions and supported the charities that were close to her heart. Her family was very important to her and spending time with those she loved as well as her chosen church family were moments she cherished. She also enjoyed shopping, gardening and caring for animals.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Eddie Moore & wife, Ruth Ann; sister-in-law, Susie Ezernack, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will also be missed by her lifelong friend, Maxine Roberts and her favorite furry companion, Buckley.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James T. Lum and her parents, Wilson & Virginia Moore.
