Learn how cryptocurrency, artificial intelligence and other new technologies are reshaping the financial world from Rich Perez, vice president of innovation and digital strategy at the Texas Bankers Association, in his presentation, “Stablecoin, crypto and the GENIUS Act: Changing the financial landscape forever.”As the leader of the multistate Innovation Magnet program for TBA, Perez helps community banks modernize through technology and strategic partnerships. He is known for translating emerging technology — from AI to stablecoin — into practical opportunities for banks. This event is part of Stephen F. Austin State University’s banking and wealth management career exploration day hosted by the Chadwick Banking Program in the Nelson Rusche College of Business.
