Griffith Fine Arts Building, Turner AuditoriumThe concert will feature Dr. Cody Hunter on bassoon and the vibrant melodies of Aram Khachaturian’s “Masquerade Suite,” a captivating musical journey filled with drama and intrigue. 
SFA Gardens Volunteer Lunch BunchNoon Feb. 19
Brundrett Conservation Education BuildingGarden technician Thomas Dimmitt and garden supervisor Duke Pittman will present the program “Twig ID and What’s New at the Arboretum” and discuss upcoming volunteer opportunities. 
Michael Roach Retrospective Reception5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 20
Griffith Fine Arts Building, Adams GalleryThe School of Art presents a retrospective exhibition featuring the work of photographer Michael Roach, which offers a compelling look at his creative vision and artistic contributions. The exhibition runs through March 28. Admission is free and open to the public. 
Baseball vs. University of Arkansas-Pine BluffFeb. 21-23
Nacogdoches City Baseball Complex, Pilgrim’s ParkSFA’s baseball team is set to play a four-game series against UA-Pine Bluff over three days, including 6:05 p.m. Feb. 21, 1:05 and 4:05 p.m. Feb. 22, and 1:05 p.m. Feb. 23.
Filmmaking Feature Premiere7 p.m. Feb. 21
Griffith Fine Arts Building, Turner AuditoriumSFA’s filmmaking program will premiere its latest feature film, “Grow Up.” This screening highlights the work of SFA student filmmakers and showcases the talent and creativity within the program. 
SFA Gardens Grafting Workshop9 a.m. to noon Feb. 22
Brundrett Conservation Education BuildingDr. David Creech, SFA professor emeritus of agriculture and director of SFA Gardens, will discuss plant grafting techniques and assist participants in practicing them on a variety of plants. 
“Dragons and Mythical Beasts”7:30 p.m. Feb. 28
Griffith Fine Arts Building, Turner AuditoriumPart of SFA’s University Series, this interactive show invites the whole family to enter a magical world of myths and legends. Nominated for the 2022 Olivier Award for Best Family Entertainment, unveil a myriad of dark secrets and come face to face with some of the most magnificent monsters and terrifying beasts ever to walk the earth. 
Showcase Saturday10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 1
Baker Pattillo Student Center, PlazaCollege-bound students and their families are invited to this all-day open house to experience life as a Lumberjack. This in-person, on-campus event invites participants to browse SFA’s more than 120 areas of study, take a campus tour, view residence halls and more. Check-in begins at 10 a.m., and the opening programs begin at 11 a.m.
