Nurse Practitioner Kristin Robinson is a new provider for PineyWoods Pediatrics patients.
“Kristin’s background and her commitment to her patients makes her a perfect fit for our care team,” Dr. Amy Huggins said. “She understands that it’s the little things that make a big difference when it comes to patient care.”
Kristin graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, then earned her Master of Science in Nursing from UT Health Science Center in Houston in 2019. Inspired by her grandmother, who was an RN in the 1950s, Kristin’s nursing background includes labor and delivery, nursery and intensive care.
Kristin provides a variety of services, from well-child checks to sick visits to sports physicals, and focuses on helping educate parents so they can feel empowered to care for their children and make safe and informed decisions for their families. Her favorite part of the job is performing newborn exams. “I love seeing the excitement and pride new parents have for their babies,” she said.
Kristin and her husband have two children, a girl and a boy. She enjoys going to Pilates on the weekend and a good cup of coffee.
