Obituary
Edward Stephen (Steve) Hollingsworth, age 77, of Nacogdoches, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. He was a little “farmin’ boy” born on August 25, 1945, in Gravel Ridge, Arkansas to Verner and Noleat Hollingsworth.
He loved dancing with his beautiful wife, Margarett, of 59 years and a loving father to Renee, Burl, and Craig.
He was also an extraordinary grandfather to Jason, Devon, Stephen, Aaron, Crystal, JaneAnn, Elizabeth, and Holt; as well a phenomenal great-grandfather to Garrett, Aiden, Nevaeh, Isaiah, Ryland, Sha’nae, Hayven, Kayden, Daetron Jr., Hunter, and Peyton.
That little farmin’ boy grew into a communication specialist working for AT&T and was a part of the communication team for the Apollo moon landing.
Steve was a real gentleman, full of wisdom, and helpful to anyone and everyone.
He was truly a kind and loving soul who loved unconditionally and provided generously for his family.
A great storyteller, he was also a hell of a hunter and fisherman who shared his secrets with “all them boys”, while spoiling “all them girls” rotten.
He will be sorely missed by everyone who knew him.
