Rena Jeanette Wicker, 96, passed away peacefully on September 3rd, 2026, in San Augustine, Texas. She was born on April 24th, 1930, in Nacogdoches, Texas, to Lawrence Edward Davison and Etta Mae Youngblood Davison.
Her many hobbies included crafting, cooking, playing video games, and tending to her beautiful flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Davison; her mother, Etta Mae Davison; her daughter, Sharon Wicker; and her grandson, Shaun Wicker.
Those left to cherish Rena’s memory include her devoted husband of 76 years, Raymond Lewis Wicker; her son, Gary Wicker and wife Karen; grandchildren Tara Brown and husband Clay, Jarrod Aiken and wife Kristie, the wife of Shaun Wicker, Stephanie, Joanna Bartkowiak and husband Len, and Lisa Lee and husband Matt; and great-grandchildren Michael Wicker, Brandon Wicker, Aaron Brown, Aubrianna Aiken, Chrissa Aiken, Gavin Brown, Kimber Wicker, Conner Revis, Kelsey Revis, Darby Revis, Marley Nelson, and Lillian Nelson. She was also survived by numerous family and friends.
Rena’s life was filled with love, family, and the many little things that brought her happiness. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Stonecreek Nursing and Rehabilitation in San Augustine, Texas.
