NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas – Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s help locating a man accused of a violent assault.
On Dec. 19, 2023, NCSO deputies were dispatched to an assault at a home in the 7700 block of CR 808 in which a man allegedly struck a woman and 13-year-old child. The suspect, identified as Jabora Dewayne Wallace, 33, fled the scene of the attack while deputies were in route. The adult victim was struck numerous times during the assault, and the child was struck several times with a piece of wall flashing. Both of the victims’ injuries were non-life threatening. Deputies searched the area and locations where Wallace might have gone, but were unable to find him.
Investigators obtained two warrants for Wallace’s arrest on a second-degree felony of assault family violence with a deadly weapon and a third-degree felony of injury to a child.
