The Live Music at Zion Hill concert, featuring Steve & Sheryl Hartz, previously scheduled for this Sunday, March 24th, will be postponed to Sunday afternoon June 9th. Nacogdoches Historic Sites division announced the need to postpone the concert, following an unforeseen injury to one of the musicians preventing the group from performing. The announcement was made Friday evening March 15th on the Nacogdoches Historic Sites webpage, Facebook page, and emailed to those who purchased tickets online. After meeting with community partners and confirming the date with the musicians, we are happy to announce that the concert is rescheduled for the weekend of the Texas Blueberry Festival, Sunday afternoon, June 9th at 2:30 pm. “The group has another performance this Spring and we wanted to select a date that wouldn’t conflict with their Spring shows.” -Veronica Amoe, Historic Sites Manager. “With most of the Blueberry events that Saturday, having the concert Sunday afternoon will give the community and visitors who are in for the weekend another fun event to take part in. ” Nacogdoches Historic Sites will work with organizers of the Texas Blueberry Festival to promote the concert and are in the process of updating online information. Those who purchased physical tickets for the March 24th date are encouraged to call 936-800-6620 and will have the option of saving their tickets for the new date or receiving a full refund.
