Officers from The Nacogdoches Police Department and DPS are on the scene of a major accident in the 3000 block of South St. (South St @ Loop 224). There are no serious injuries.
An 18 wheeler overturned and has the northbound entrance to SW Stallings Dr. completely blocked, all traffic is being routed north and south on South St., which is still open.
Please avoid this area if possible as traffic is congested and officers and TXDOT employees are on scene.
This road closure could last into the nighttime hours as crews are on scene working as fast and safe as possible.
