The Nacogdoches High School Alumni Association will host its 2026 HOMECOMING RECEPTION AND ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING, Friday, September 25th, 2026, 5:00-5:45 p.m., in the NHS Alumni Association Office, Room 500, in the Fine Arts Building of Nacogdoches High School, 4310 Appleby Sand Road, Nacogdoches, Texas. The Johnson Family will be recognized as a family with three generations of NHS Golden Dragon graduates. The family will also be recognized during a pre-game ceremony at the football game in Dragon Stadium.
During the meeting NHS Alumni and Friends will vote on new board members and officers for the board, hear reports on finances, partially- and fully-endowed scholarships, including four new scholarships established in 2026, and participate in a drawing for a $100 gift card. They also say “Happy Birthday” to the members of Class of 1974, who turned 70 during the 2025-2026 year and celebrated with the Classes of 1969-1979 this past summer. Graduating Classes of NHS celebrating anniversary reunions this fall will also be recognized, including the Classes of 1966, 1976, 1981, 1986, and 2006 and the Band from the Caldwell Years.
