It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Micheal Ray Russell, 73.
On Friday, May 22, 2026, Mike passed away peacefully at home to be with our Lord. A graduate of Central Heights High School Class of 1971, Mike proudly served his community with the Nacogdoches Fire Department for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Russell, his sons Luke and Danny Russell, daughters-in-law Erin and Sarah Russell, and grandsons Grady, Case, Alden, Mack, and Rhett Russell.
The visitation will be held on Friday May 29, 2026 at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home from 5:00-7:00 pm. The funeral service will be at Trawick Presbyterian Church on Saturday May 30, 2026 at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Trawick Presbyterian Church.
