Obituary
Matthew passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Nacogdoches. Matthew was born in Shreveport Louisiana on November 16, 1966 to James Marvin Lee and Abbie Tucker Lee who proceeded him in death.
Matthew’s family moved to Dallas and he graduated from North Garland High School and later from, St. Edwards University in Austin.
Matthew had a successful career in the technology field and enjoyed helping people improve their computer skills. Matt loved music especially “The Beatles’ and he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Matthew married Martha Robertson in Nacogdoches on March 11, 2000 who survives him.
He is survived by his wife, daughter Jennifer Megan Lee of Austin, two sons Robert James Lee and Jackson Walter Lee of Nacogdoches. He is also survived by his Mother-in-law, Kathryn Robertson, a brother James Mark Lee of Austin and a dear family friend, Billy Roberts of Dallas, numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Matt.
Memorials may be made to The Children’s Heart Foundation, First Methodist Church of Nacogdoches, or a charity of your choice.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
