Loretta was the daughter of Arthur Nathaniel “Dick” and Velma Looney Perkins.  She and her siblings were raised on the family dairy farm helping to take care of things with their parents.  As a child, she learned the ways of life and the importance of taking care of others.  As a young woman, she realized her passion for just that.  She worked for many years in local nursing homes as a caregiver for those who needed her the most.  She became a mother and loved her daughters dearly.  When her girls had children of their own, she had such a great joy being “Nanny” and being there for her grandchildren.  And when she became a great grandmother, she knew her life and heart was full.

Later in life, Loretta was able to enjoy many things but was most often found watching old westers, listening to her favorite country music, working crossword puzzles or playing bingo at the nursing home.  She will be missed by those who loved her the most and will forever be remembered for the impact she made in their lives.
