Charisma Event Management, owner Mable Cannings, is kicking off new opportunities on Saturday, September 24, 2022 with the 2nd RISE Empowerment Pop-up Market, from 10 am to 3 pm a at the C.L. Simon Recreation Center, 1112 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas 75961. “Covid 19 put us all on notice of just how vulnerable we all were to economic downturns. If we weren’t already thriving in a big way, we would likely get run over by the pressure!” It is not news that many of our small local entrepreneurs lack a space to showcase their talent, services and products! This event is designed to do exactly that…. for just one day to help entrepreneurs make important connections, create potentially new customers and to sell products to the public that might have no idea that they exist!
The RISE Pop-up Market which is open to the public and free to attend, will be held from 10 am to 3 pm. This is a project to establish a platform for entrepreneurs and craftspeople (creatives) to pursue economic empowerment and engage the community in shopping, networking, education, fun, and entertainment suitable for the whole family.
Last year we hosted over 30 artists, fashion, jewelry, automotive, specialty advertising, authors and entertainment entrepreneurs to list a few and we are now seeking to attract health and wellness experts, landscaping, graphic artists, fitness gurus, insurance sellers, clothing alterations, website developers, photographers and more who could benefit from the exposure through the RISE POPUP MARKET, which is again family friendly and free to the public to attend. Additionally, we will present a 1-hour free workshop “Where’s the Money?” on how to monetize your talent, access capital and opportunities to do business in the local area! The free workshop will be held at the Park & Recreation Center on North Street at 9:00am prior the opening of the market at 10:00am.
