Kimberly Nicole Worry

OCTOBER 14, 1984 – FEBRUARY 4, 2023

Obituary

Kimberly Nicole Worry of Nacogdoches passed away February 4, 2023 at her home at the age of 38. She was born October 14, 1984 to parents Kerry Doster and Barbara Green.

Nicole loved animals and going to the zoo with her family, and they believe that she would have made a wonderful veterinarian. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, and going out to the pool. She would even clean the pool in her apartment complex so she could swim and lay by the pool. She loved going to the fair, listening to Country Western music, bubble baths, or enjoying a few casual drinks with her sisters. Nicole was an avid player of Soda Crush, calling herself “The Queen of Sodas”. She was even sent a stuffed bear by the game makers.

Nicole, or CoCo as her family also called her, loved everyone and never met a stranger. She enjoyed spending time with her boyfriend, Daniel. She was raised to practice good manners and be respectful, saying, “please”, “thank you”, “yes ma’am”, and “no ma’am.” She and her mom had a saying they would always say to each other – “God Lubs It!”

Nicole was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroendocrine Carcinoma on August 9, 2022, and spent time in 3 different hospitals. She came back to her home on October 16, 2022. She took her last breath of February 4, 2023, with her mom by her side telling her she would miss her, but it was okay for her to go be with Jesus. Nicole was a Christian, and she was saved before she passed.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, several nieces & nephews, cousins, and other relatives. She is survived by her mother, Barbara Green; father, Kerry Doster; son, Craig Lynn Worry; grandmother, Barbara Null; siblings, Felisha Doster, Darlene Doster, Angel Doster, Lang Doster, Catey Doster, and Beth Doster; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Home in Nacogdoches.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors.
