Kathryn ( Kathy ) Ann Bass Smith was born on September 27, 1956 in Nacogdoches,Texas and passed on March 22, 2025, attaining the age of 68 years. She was married to Albert Smith for 52 years.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Agnes Catherine (Nelson) and her Father, Vertis Bobby Bass; nephew, Brian Chancellor; step-brother, Dennis Doles; half-brother, Billy Paul Bass; brother, George Bass; half-sister, Mollie Heath; and sister-in-law, Sue Cain.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Albert Smith of Nacogdoches, Texas; Daughter, Amy Boynton and Son-in-law, PJ Boynton of Karnes City, Texas; her sister, Naomi Chancellor and brother-in-law, Albert Chancellor of Nacogdoches, Texas; her half-sister, Wendy and brother-in-law Heath Peterson of Garrison, Texas; her brother, Vertis Lynn and sister-in-law, Angela Bass; Grand Children, Brittany Boynton of Blanco,Texas; Heather and Nelson Veraza of Karnes City,Texas; Brandon Boynton of Karnes City,Texas.
She loved arts and crafts, especially yarn, quilting, and knitting.
Graveside services will be held in Holly Grove Cemetery, Nacogdoches County, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 10:00 A.M.
