Karen Lampin Chandler was born September 30,1966 to father Lindon Lampin and mother Mary Muckleroy Lampin. Karen grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas and graduated from Woden High School. It was here that she met the love of her life, Clark, and created their beautiful life and family. Karen and Clark married February 15, 1986. They were blessed with two daughters; Kaylyn and Madalyn.
Karen enjoyed more than anything spending time with her family and her grandchildren. She spent part of her free time outside, whether it be in the flower beds, going to the beach, or chasing sunsets. Most of her time, her and Clark spent following grandkids around to ballgames, rodeos, or where ever that week’s schedule took them. Being “lolly” was her favorite title of all. She loved painting and crafting with the grandkids, each visit there were bracelets being made, paintings being created, and crafts being made.
In her last months of life, she stayed strong for her family and never showed them any sign that she was growing weary. Up until her last days, she was in true Karen fashion; making sure everything was in its right place and soaking up time with family. She had an eye for detail and lived by the words, “if you’re going to do something, better do it right.”
No one could ask for a more selfless and loving woman to be in their life. You could not have asked for a better mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, or friend. She would do anything and everything she could to make sure every occasion was perfect and special for everyone.
She was loved by many and will be missed by all, but we have peace knowing that Karen is in heaven enjoying all the things she once could do. She fought a tough battle and she is now rejoicing with her Lord upstairs.
The love and lessons Karen taught us all will live with us forever.
