Funeral services for John “Bill” William Hunter, 92, of Nacogdoches will be held at 3:00pm Friday, August 29, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Brian Derr. Interment will follow at Lower Melrose Cemetery. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00pm on Friday, August 20, 2025, at Laird Funeral Home. Mr. Hunter passed away on August 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Spring, Texas. He was born on March 23, 1933, in Meadow, Texas.
