Jimmy Doyle Socia, of Nacogdoches, TX, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023, surrounded by his children, family, and loving wife of 65 years. Jimmy was born on June 19, 1937, in Timpson, to the Parents’ of Mildred and Lonnie Windham and Paul and Virginia Socia. His family was grateful to have celebrated his 86th birthday on Father’s Day Weekend. After retirement, he enjoyed playing golf four days a week and spending time with his family and sweet dog, Max. More than anything, he loved taking care of his loving wife of 65 years, and only wished he had 25 more.
Jimmy was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Piney Woods Country Club. He was also a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed attending his Sunday School Class. All that knew Jimmy, loved him. He had a special way of lighting up any room and will be dearly missed.
