Glynda Joyce Holland, age 77, passed away on August 26, 2024 in Huntington, Texas.
A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service, at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Dickie Allen Funeral Home, in Cushing, TX.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 PM, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Dickie Allen Funeral Home in Cushing, TX, Brother Jordan Bryan Officiating.
Burial will follow the funeral service at Linn-Flat Cemetery in Trawick.
Glynda was born in Nacogdoches, Texas to Glyn and Joy (Box) Perry, on July 25, 1947. She graduated from Cushing High School. She married Joe Don Holland of Huntington, TX, remaining happily married for 51 years. She worked in the Employee Relations Department for Champion International Papermill for over 30 years.
Glynda is preceded in death by her parents, Glyn and Joy Perry, sister, Valenda Perry and grandson, Cody Holland.
She is survived by her husband, Joe Don Holland, son and wife, Myles and Elizabeth Holland, Joe Don Holland Jr., daughters and husbands, Lynn and Greg Randolph and Donna and Scott Ross. Grandchildren, Hunter Holland, Rachel Westbrook, Jesse Hutto, Sydney Ross, Bailey Ross and Loren Holland. Numerous great grandchildren, Special cousins, Sarah Vaught, Billy Perry, Joel Perry and Milton Perry.
Special family friends that have spanned multiple generations of friendships are the Jack and Joyce Birdwell family.
Pallbearers will be Myles Holland, Hunter Holland, Jesse Hutto, Billy Birdwell, Kenneth McKnight, Greg Randolph and Scott Ross.
