Garrison man arrested on indecency charges

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas – A Garrison man was arrested and booked into the county jail Sunday following allegations that he inappropriately touched a juvenile.
Cedric Johnson, 48, faces three second-degree felony charges for indecency with a child, sexual contact. Johnson was brought to the attention of NCSO investigators when a young woman made an outcry that he had made overtly sexual gestures and advances towards her while at his home in the 200 block of CR 128 on at least three separate occasions. Based on information gathered from interviews with the victim, investigators obtained three warrants for Johnson’s arrest. He was taken into custody at his home without incident. Johnson is a registered sex offender required to register for life. This is an ongoing investigation. Johnson was incarcerated at the Nacogdoches County jail on bonds totaling $150,000 for the three charges.
