Four facing felonies after search warrants lead to drugs, firearm.

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, Texas – The Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office (NCSO) executed search warrants at two residences in Nacogdoches this week, leading to the arrests of four individuals and the seizure of illegal drugs and a firearm.

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, NCSO deputies and investigators served a search warrant at a residence in the 1500 block of Cleaver Street after an investigation indicated drugs were being sold from the location. Inside, deputies seized a loaded handgun, cocaine, ecstasy, suspected fentanyl pills, prescription medications, and drug paraphernalia associated with the sale and use of illegal drugs.

Authorities arrested George Ray Fields Jr., 40, and Ambria Nicole Curl, 30, both of Nacogdoches. Fields faces multiple charges, including:

  • Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance (first-degree felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (second-degree felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony)
    Additionally, Fields had an outstanding first-degree felony warrant for manufacturing or delivering a controlled substance in Shelby County, which was served at the time of his arrest. He remains in custody on bonds totaling $360,000.

Curl was charged with possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony). She posted a $6,000 bond set by a justice of the peace and was released on Wednesday, Feb. 5.

The following day, Wednesday, Feb. 5, deputies executed a second search warrant at an apartment in the 300 block of Ellington Street, where they confiscated methamphetamine, marijuana, crack cocaine, and ecstasy. Some of the drugs were found in areas accessible to children living in the apartment. The children were removed from the residence, and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services was notified.

Deputies arrested Terence Demon Jones, 42, on multiple charges, including:

  • Manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance (first-degree felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony)
  • Abandoning or endangering a child (state jail felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (state jail felony)
  • Possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor)

Alisha Denette Jones, 33, was also taken into custody and charged with:

  • Possession of a controlled substance (second-degree felony)
  • Possession of a controlled substance (third-degree felony)
  • Abandoning or endangering a child (state jail felony)
  • Possession of marijuana (Class B misdemeanor)

Both cases are part of an ongoing investigation into drug distribution in Nacogdoches County and surrounding areas. Authorities say additional charges may be forthcoming.
